Ni pays ni exil se veut une poésie de l’action, de revendication au droit à la vie, au bien-être collectif, à l’accès au pain pour tous et la venue d’un monde juste.
Né à Port- au-Prince le 8 mai 1995, Ricardo Boucher est poète, artiste performeur et activiste politique. Boursier des résidences par Quatre Chemins en 2021, il donne en 2023 une lecture du recueil Powèm entèdi ak lòt powèm de Guy Régis Jr lors de la 2e édition de Babelica. Ni pays ni exil est son premier recueil de poèmes.
Poetry of resistance and refusal, Ricardo Boucher's writing carries the voice of all the damned of the earth. All those oppressed by the capitalist machine, all those whose bodies are at the mercy of political power, find a place in it. [...] From Lebanon to Gaza, from Tehran to Port-au-Prince, from the DRC to the gates of the Mediterranean, the poet gathers the cries of all the innocents who fall under the fury of murderous bullets and disappear into the belly of the ocean. He offers a tombstone to all the disinherited and forgotten of history who bear the brunt of bomb attacks.
No Country and No Exile is the poetry of action, of demands for the right to life, collective well-being, access to bread for all, and the coming of a just world.
Born in Port-au-Prince on May 8, 1995, Ricardo Boucher is a poet, performance artist and political activist. In 2023, he will give a reading of Guy Régis Jr's Powèm entèdi ak lòt powèm at the 2nd edition of Babelica. No Country and No Exile is his first collection of poems.
