Le Journal d'un fou

Le Journal d'un fou  est le premier roman d'Ahmed El Falah, paru dans la collection AHYAE, une collection de textes courts, écrits, édités et imprimés au Maroc par les Éditions Le Sélénite. Cette collection porte l’imaginaire et l’affirmation de soi de la nouvelle génération. Se questionnant sur ce qui a pu faire de lui une proie, un “fou” aux yeux de tous, un homme erre dans une ville à l’agonie et cherche des réponses auprès de Mawlana, le guide spirituel dont les écrits l’inspirent… Le “fou” ne serait-il rien d’autre qu’un artiste, un écrivain, un amoureux ?

Ahmed El Falah, né en 1993 à Rabat, est comédien, auteur et metteur en scène. Après avoir suivi une formation au Cours Florent, il revient au Maroc où il crée en 2021 la Compagnie Rassif. Le Journal d’un fou, d’après une idée de l’auteur de dialoguer avec Rumi au travers de quatrains extraits des célèbres Rubâi’Yât du poète philosophe persan, est son premier roman.

Diary of a Madman is the first novel by Ahmed El Falah, published in the AHYAE collection, a collection of short texts, written, edited and printed in Morocco by Éditions Le Sélénite. This collection carries the imagination and self-affirmation of the new generation. Questioning what could have made him a prey, a “madman” in the eyes of all, a man wanders in a city in agony and seeks answers from Mawlana, the spiritual guide whose writings inspire him… Is the “madman” nothing other than an artist, a writer, a lover?

Ahmed El Falah, born in 1993 in Rabat, is an actor, author and director. After training at Cours Florent, he returned to Morocco where he created Compagnie Rassif in 2021. Diary of a Madman, based on the author's idea of dialoguing with Rumi through quatrains taken from the famous Rubâi'Yât of the Persian poet-philosopher, is his first published text.
