Mařka přináší krátké dokumentární povídky ze života autorčiny hluchoněmé tety z Valašska, která celý život pásla ovce a v šedesáti letech se začala věnovat art brut kresbám. Ty jsou vedle autorčiných dokumentárních ilustrací také součástí knihy. Mařka je inkluzivním dokumentem o přátelství mezi postarší ženou s hendikepem a malou holčičkou.
Adéla Marie Jirků je československá ilustrátorka a malířka, absolventka ateliérů ilustrace a grafiky na VŠMU a AVU, stážistka ESBAM Marseille. Je autorkou několika autorských knih a řady ilustrací.
The book Mařka brings short life stories of writer’s and painter’s deaf-mute aunt from Walachia (Czech Republic) who has been shepherding sheep all her life, and in age of sixty started to draw Art Brut drawings that has become an important part of this author’s book, too. Mařka is an inclusive documentary about friendship between an old woman with handicap and a little girl.
Adéla Marie Jirků is a Czechoslovak illustrator, painter and writer, graduate within the Czech art schools VŠMU and AVU, former intern at ESBAM Marseille. She is the author of several art books and many illustrations.
