Cynthia Rodríguez-Peraza est née au Venezuela, où elle a suivi une formation de journaliste et d'éditrice. Elle s'est installée au Canada en même temps qu'elle devenait mère et guidée par son amour du livre pour enfants, elle a cofondé UpaUpa une librairie dédiée à la diffusion du livre pour enfants en langue espagnole partout au Canada. Elle se consacre aujourd’hui à la médiation littéraire et au journalisme.

Cynthia Rodríguez-Peraza was born in Venezuela, where she trained as a journalist and editor. She moved to Canada as she became a mother and guided by her love of children's books, she co-founded UpaUpa a bookstore dedicated to the distribution of children's books in Spanish across Canada. Today she devotes herself to cultural mediation and journalism.
