Simon, qui n’a jamais entretenu de relations très intimes avec son père, se retrouve être le seul à devoir s’occuper de ses obsèques. La tradition juive, celle de sa famille, veut que l’homme soit enterré enveloppé dans son châle de prière, le « talit ». Simon part donc à la recherche de celui-ci, mais en ouvrant le sac le contenant, il découvre deux talits, emmêlés par leurs franges. À qui appartient le deuxième talit ?

Simon, who never had a very close relationship with his father, is the only one responsible for his funeral. Jewish tradition, the one of his family, dictates that a man must be buried wrapped in his prayer shawl, the “talit”. Simon therefore sets out to find his father’s talit. But he discovers two talits, tangled by their fringes. Whose is the second talit?
Born in 1971, David Naïm works as a consultant when he’s not writing. In his writing, he pursues au question: why try, at all costs, to connect with someone other than oneself?
