在不斷對生死的追問裡，死亡的神秘與可怖卻漸漸消弭
所謂平庸，更多的不過是在死亡面前，在時代的激烈變動當中，在一種強烈的無力感之下，詩人僅能選擇無可奈何的自嘲。有無力的疲憊，有時事的沈痾，也有何杉在其生死觀背後表現出來的時間觀，這為何杉的寫作帶來了語言上的顯著特點。流動般的敘述方式和語感，讓何杉在他的詩作中構建起一個「流動性的世界」。

一個父親，一個移⺠；一個閱讀者，一個寫作者。
工作、養育孩子、閱讀與寫作，這幾乎就是他生活的全部。閲讀，讓我們探索各種不同的世界；寫作，則是在這些世界裡不斷揭示自我。卽使最終不能抵達某處，至少我們曾像唐吉訶德一樣努力過、掙扎過、行走過。
畢業於上海華東師範大學漢語言文學系，二〇二五年獲新加坡南洋理工大學博士，目前定居新加坡從事教職

A father, a Migrant, a Reader, and a Writer.
His life revolves around work, raising children, reading, and writing. Reading allows us to explore diverse worlds, while writing constantly reveals our inner selves within these worlds. Even if we may never reach a particular destination, at least we have strived, struggled, and journeyed like Don Quixote.
Graduate of East China Normal University with a major in Chinese Language and Literature. In 2025, he received a Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He currently resides in Singapore, working in academia.

In 2021, He Shan was awarded the Bronze Medal in the Poetry category of the Singapore Golden Point Award.
In 2022, he published his first poetry collection, A Moment in Time, with Singapore Trend Lit Publishing House.
In 2024, he was awarded the Poetry in Chinese category of the Singapore Literature Prize.
