Monfay est une fille qui peut voyager dans le temps grâce à ses amis, Béliké, le génie des vents et Napo, le garçon du passé. Dans cet album, elle explore une Afrique qui s’est affranchie de toutes les dominations étrangères et qui s’affirme pour indiquer la voie du développement durable à l’humanité. Mais même dans ce monde où tout semble parfait, la cupidité de l’homme engendre toujours des conflits.

Koffivi Assem est écrivain, scénariste et éditeur. Il a été directeur de publication et l’animateur principal du magazine de bande dessinée AGO Fiction et a collaboré avec plusieurs magazines pour enfants au sein de l’association togolaise des auteurs et illustrateurs de livres pour enfants. Animateur d’atelier d’écriture et de création de BD, il intervient en tant que formateur dans plusieurs écoles et auprès d’organismes internationaux dans le cadre de divers projets au Togo et Bénin. Il a été lauréat du prix de l’Association France-Togo en 2005 et de plusieurs bourses du Centre National du Livre de Paris.

Monfay is a girl who can travel through time thanks to her friends, Béliké, the wind genie, and Napo, the boy from the past. In this album, she explores an Africa that has freed itself from all foreign domination and is asserting itself to show humanity the path to sustainable development. But even in this world where everything seems perfect, human greed still breeds conflict.

Koffivi Assem is a writer, screenwriter, and editor. He was the publishing director and main animator of the comic book magazine AGO Fiction and has collaborated with several children's magazines as part of the Togolese Association of Authors and Illustrators of Children's Books. A facilitator of writing and comic book creation workshops, he works as a trainer in several schools and with international organisations on various projects in Togo and Benin. He was awarded the France-Togo Association prize in 2005 and several grants from the National Book Centre in Paris.
