Quel coquin ce coucou ! s’inspire d’un comportement de cet oiseau gris observé par les ornithologues : bien souvent, le coucou ne construit pas lui-même son nid et s’approprie celui d’autres oiseaux. Tel un clin d’oeil à la tradition suisse de l’horloge, bien au-delà des images et des mots, ce conte initiatique invite à la réflexion sur la notion de « chez soi » et plus généralement sur celle de « trouver sa place ».
Noémie Pétremand écrit et adapte des contes pour petits et grands. Elle a déjà publié Prounkou aux Éditions Antipodes, un album illustré pour les enfants dès 4 ans, qui évoque le problème de la surconsommation.
Hey Cuckoo! is inspired by the behaviour of this grey bird observed by ornithologists: very often, the cuckoo does not build its own nest and appropriates that of other birds. With a nod to the Swiss tradition of the clock, this initiatory tale goes far beyond images and words to invite reflection on the notion of “home” and, more generally, that of “finding one's place”.
Noémie Pétremand writes and adapts stories for young and old. She has already published Prounkou with Éditions Antipodes, an illustrated album for children aged 4 and over, which tackles the problem of over-consumption.
