Zuli es una pequeña diferente. Su color azul hace que otros niños la queden mirando y que a veces se burlen de ella. En este relato, Zuli aprende a tener confianza en sí misma y les enseña a los otros que las diferencias aportan y se pueden aprovechar para lograr grandes cosas.
Azulada enseña a los niños a apreciar las diferencias que existen entre las personas, sin importar cuán distintos podamos ser unos de otros. De una manera sutil, trata temas tan relevantes como la inclusión y la valoración de la diversidad. La protagonista aprende a aceptarse y quererse a sí misma, dejando una linda reflexión acerca del amor propio.

Mamá de tres niños. Periodista y profesora de Lenguaje y Comunicación, con un máster en Educación del Teachers College, Columbia University. Actualmente se desempeña como académica de la Facultad de Educación UAndes y forma parte de la red EarlyEdu de la Universidad de Washington. Dentro de su trayectoria, ha formado y capacitado a docentes a lo largo de Chile y América Latina. Se desempeñó como directora de Formación de la Fundación Impulso Docente. Es autora de literatura infantil con cuatro libros publicados y planea publicar al menos dos más.
Zuli is a different little girl. Her blue color makes other children stare and, sometimes, mock her too. In this story, Zuli learns to have self-confidence and she teaches other kids that differences make us who we are and can be used to achieve great things. This book teaches children to appreciate the differences that exist between people, no matter how diverse we may be. In a subtle way, the story deals with relevant topics such as inclusion and the appreciation of diversity. The protagonist learns to accept and love herself, leaving a beautiful reflection about self-esteem.
Carol Neumann
Mom of three children. Journalist and professor of Language and Communication, with a master’s degree in education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She currently works as an academic at the UAndes School of Education and is part of the EarlyEdu network at the University of Washington. Within his career, he has trained and trained teachers throughout Chile and Latin America. She served as Director of Training at the Impulso Docente Foundation. She is a children's author with four published books and plans to publish at least two more.
