¿Cuántos libros, canciones, afiches, partituras, fotos, pinturas, películas, esculturas, cancioneros, murales, estatuas y diarios fueron destrozados y se convirtieron en cenizas durante la dictadura? No lo sabemos. Lo que sí discernimos es que, tal como versa una canción alemana del siglo XVIII: «Las ideas son libres»: «a pesar de la servidumbre y la tiranía, no pueden ser fusiladas».
Este libro comprende la totalidad de los poemas escritos por María Cristina López Stewart, militante del Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (MIR) secuestrada el 22 de septiembre de 1974 por la Dirección de Inteligencia Nacional (DINA) de la dictadura cívico-militar encabezada por Pinochet y desaparecida hasta el día de hoy.

How many books, songs, posters, sheet music, photos, paintings, films, sculptures, songbooks, murals, statues and newspapers were destroyed and turned to ashes during the dictatorship? We do not know. What we do discern is that, in the words of an 18th century German song: "Ideas are free": "in spite of servitude and tyranny, they cannot be shot".
This book includes all the poems written by María Cristina López Stewart, a militant of the Revolutionary Left Movement (MIR) kidnapped on September 22, 1974 by the National Intelligence Directorate (DINA) of the civil-military dictatorship headed by Pinochet and disappeared to this day.

Student of pedagogy in history and MIR militant. She was kidnapped on September 22, 1974 by members of the DINA. She was 21 years old at the time of her abduction; to this day, she is still missing.
