Enchanted Paper and the Lost Souls
作者陸思良以一張與逝者通信的紙，劃開了一九八〇年代的中國，讓讀者重新感受文革餘波如何塑形當代中國；個人、家族與命運受困於泛政治化的角力場，如同歷史本身一樣緊密糾纏，不穩定、充滿矛盾，卻又不可逃避——一個、一個成為赤色的大社會思想下的一體。
陸思良是中國恢復高考後上海交通大學首屆學士，畢業後繼續讀相關碩士學位，曾留校任助教、講師。而後以技術移民身分移居新加坡，在半導體公司任職。在移民二十餘年後決定全職寫作。二〇二四年出版散文集《雙子星》，臺灣秀威出版，獲選新加坡《聯合早報》：早報書選二〇二四。
This novel portrays China in the aftermath of the Cultural Revolution, when class struggle remained pervasive and those labeled “class enemies” endured profound injustice. Children from such families lived under severe social imbalance, where individuals will not survive, giving rise to psychological distortion and mutual hostility. Through a magical sheet that communicates with the dead, the author opens the cracks of 1980s China, revealing how the Revolution’s aftershocks shaped contemporary life. Individuals, families, and destinies are tightly entangled in a vast red ideology that absorbs everyone.
Si-Liang Lu studied and taught at Shanghai Jiao Tong University before moving to Singapore as a semiconductor professional. After two decades abroad, he became a full-time writer.
