Together we travel
L’enfant remarque les traces de la maladie sur sa maman. Ensemble, elles voyagent dans les lieux qui retracent leur amour. Une maison, une œuvre d’art, un animal marin, une saison : toutes les formes que sa maman prend dans ce grand voyage donnent à l’enfant la force d’aimer au présent. Ici, elles sont occupées à vivre.

Lula Carballo
Originaire de l’Uruguay, Lula Carballo a complété une maîtrise en création littéraire à l’Université du Québec à Montréal. En 2018, elle a publié Créatures du hasard aux éditions Cheval d’août. Son roman a été finaliste au Prix littéraire des collégiens ainsi qu'aux Rencontres du premier roman. On retrouve ses poèmes et ses traductions dans différentes revues spécialisées.

Elle vit à Montréal. Sa pratique s’intéresse à l’écriture voyageuse, au potentiel des rencontres et aux fenêtres des langages. Candidate à la maîtrise à l’Université du Québec à Montréal, elle est co-autrice du recueil de poésie photographique Nous sommes devenus ces gens, a contribué aux collectifs Nous habitons l’inquiétude et L’état nomade, et se dédie actuellement à l'écriture d'un recueil de voyage. On retrouve ses textes dans diverses revues littéraires telles que Le Sabord, Moebius et Estuaire. Elle travaille comme réviseure, traductrice et accompagnatrice en francisation.
The child notices the traces of the disease on her mother. Together, they travel to the places that trace their love. A house, an artwork, a sea animal, a season: all the forms that the mama takes on this great journey give the child the strength to love in the present tense. Here they are busy living.

Originally from Uruguay, Lula Carballo completed a master's degree in creative writing at the University of Quebec in Montreal. In 2018, she published Créatures du hasard at Cheval d’août. Her novel was a finalist for the literary prize for college students as well as for the Rencontres du premier roman. We can find her poems and translations in various specialized journals.
Catherine Anne Laranjo
She lives in Montreal. Her practice is interested in traveling writing, the potential of encounters and the windows of languages. Candidate for a master's degree at the University of Quebec in Montreal, she is co-author of the collection of photographic poetry We have become these people, has contributed to the collectives We live in worry and The nomadic state, and is currently dedicated to the writing of a travelogue. Her texts can be found in various literary journals such as Le Sabord, Moebius and Estuaire. She works as a reviser, translator and francization tutor.
