Dans ce premier recueil, Sarah Basma Harnafi conte le chemin que l’on trace pour trouver un espace habitable et construire sa langue, son identité et son territoire. Partagée entre deux rives, l’autrice met en poésie une voix qui s’élève contre le racisme, le sexisme ou le capitalisme. Dans un monde de vitesse, ce recueil propose un temps d’arrêt, un endroit où se consacrer à nos utopies et nos éveils, avec une écriture qui dit autant les angoisses du quotidien, la violence imposée au corps minorisé, invalide ou malade, que l’ardeur révolutionnaire et collective. Ces poèmes en se répondant constituent un langage pour exister, vivre et faire communauté.
Sarah Basma Harnafi a grandi au Maroc et s’est installée à Paris en 2019 pour poursuivre ses études. Elle a ensuite investi la photographie. Sensibilisée dès l’enfance aux vers politiques de poètes comme Mahmoud Darwich, ses premières expositions alliaient images et poèmes.
In this first volume of poetry, Sarah Basma Harnafi tells the path she draws to find a liveable space and builds her tongue, her identity and her territory. Shared between two banks, the author puts in poetry a voice which elevates against racism, sexism or capitalism. In a speedy world, this collection offers a stop, a place where dedicate ourselves to our utopias and wakenings, with a writting which says our daily anxieties, the violence imposed to minorised, disabled or sick body as much as the revolutionnary and collectiv ardor. These poems, by responding to themselves, constitute a language to exist, live and be community.
Sarah Basma Harnafi grew up in Morocco then moved in Paris in 2019 to study. She invested quickly photography. Aware since childhood to political verses like the ones from Mahmoud Darwish, her first exhibitions brought images and poems.
