“Justice” is believed by everyone to be a fundamental value of modernity. It acquired its meanings with modern systems and gave, as some see, a comprehensive character to the new world order.
However, today this regime is experiencing a severe crisis, especially with the imbalances at all levels. With it, values ​​and concepts have become subject to profound disagreement, causing everyone to reconsider them.
“Justice” was not spared the consequences of that crisis, as points of view multiplied and visions intersected, and the matter became in need of a scientific and comprehensive dialogue, based on an accurate diagnosis of the reality of justice today.
Tunisia has also not been spared the impact of the justice crisis in general, especially since justice problems have represented a basic demand of the revolution since the Mining Basin events.
This book includes twenty-five works, in which researchers addressed the issue of justice and its problems in Tunisia from multiple aspects. They described cases, investigated reality, and identified all types of racial, sexual, and religious discrimination in the economic and social lives of various groups at home, in the street, at school, in the institution, in regular state structures, and on the margins.
These important studies on reality make us wonder: is there a place for justice today with the spread of all the aforementioned forms of discrimination?
It also opens the door wide for us to understand the problems of justice in Tunisia.
