Jadis les dodos vivaient en toute tranquillité sur leur île… jusqu’à l’arrivée des hommes, des êtres terriblement bruyants.
Gabrielle Wiehe grandit à l’île Maurice, puis fait des études d’arts appliqués à Paris. Après une carrière de directrice artistique dans des agences parisiennes puis en free-lance, elle se consacre à l’illustration et à l’écriture entre le sud de la France et l’océan Indien.
Philippe Barbeau fut instituteur spécialisé avant de se consacrer à l’écriture pour la jeunesse. Ses ouvrages ont été couronnés par de nombreux prix. Il est aussi conteur, et vit aujourd’hui en Franche-Comté.

Gabrielle Wiehe grew up in Mauritius and then studied applied arts in Paris. After a career as an art director in Parisian agencies and then as a freelancer, she now devotes herself to illustration and writing, dividing her time between the south of France and the Indian Ocean.
Philippe Barbeau was a special education teacher before dedicating himself to writing for children. His books have won numerous awards. He is also a storyteller and currently lives in Franche-Comté.
