Une mère mourante, désespérée et abattue succombe devant le désastre banal et le poids d’une vie ingrate, amère et trop lourde à supporter. Face au désarroi de son pays, le fils décide de prendre le large en quête de paradis artificiels sous d’autres cieux. Et c’est la débâcle. Seule reste, la petite Sarah qui, à travers les livres et la poésie, cherche à recoller les morceaux de sa vie. Le chant des blessures est une véritable épopée d’une famille en temps d’incertitude.

Between the cry of revolt and the song of hope, The Song of Wounds narrates the tragic destiny of a family helpless in the face of the risks of a present without a future and unable to cope with the vagaries of life. Written in a luminous and poetic language, this novel is also the trial of a dilapidated society, left to violence and misery, exodus and despair.
