Abode of Spirits. Memory and Present of the Kawésqar Communities that Defend the Sea.
For millennia, the Kawésqar communities have inhabited the narrow channels of Magallanes, sheltered among the untamed nature of the breasts where their ancestors were born. Cradled between the seas of Jautok, they preserve their ancestral navigation and see the children of their great family grow up.
Collective work prepared by the Kawésqar Communities that defend the sea (indigenous group that includes the Kawésqar Nómades del Mar, Ata'p and Residentes de Río Primero communities), through the writing of Karina Flores Hidalgo, a journalist specialising in anthropology.
