سهگانهٔ «نسیان» داستان دختری نوجوان به نام شهناز را روایت میکند که در میان طوفانهای فرهنگی، سیاسی و خانوادگی ایرانِ دههٔ ۱۳۶۰ گرفتار شده است. در قلب این رمان، کشمکش او با حافظه، با گذشته، و با هویت زنانهای که بهتدریج در او شکل میگیرد، قرار دارد.
در طول سه جلد، روایت بهطور کامل از فضای مدرسه و سالهای نوجوانی به قلمرو زندگی خانوادگی و خانه منتقل میشود و بر روابط زناشویی و خانوادگی تمرکز مییابد. این جابهجایی، لایهای تازه به داستان میافزاید؛ لایهای که جنسیت، قدرت، شرم و مقاومت را در فضاهای صمیمی و اغلب خفقانآور و محدودکننده به کاوش میگذارد.
شهناز گلمحمدی نویسنده و روزنامهنگار مقیم ایران است. او تحت نام مستعار مینویسند. رمان سهجلدی نسیان در ایران غیرقابل چاپ اعلام شد و وزارت ارشاد اسلامی اجازه انتشار به آن را نداد. این اولین رمان نویسنده است که به دلیل سانسور در ایران، در لندن منتشر شد.
Nesyan trilogy tells the story of a teenage girl named Shahnaz, caught in the cultural, political, and familial storms of 1980s Iran. At the heart of the novel lies her struggle with memory, with the past, and with her emerging feminine identity.
Over the three volumes, the story shifts entirely from school and adolescence years into the domestic sphere, focusing on marital and familial relationships. This shift introduces a new layer to the narrative—one that explores gender, power, shame, and resistance in intimate, often claustrophobic spaces.
Shahnaz Golmohammadi is an Iranian writer and journalist based in Iran. She writes under a pseudonym. Her trilogy Nesyan was deemed unpublishable in Iran, and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance denied it permission for publication. This is the author's first novel, which, due to censorship in Iran, was ultimately published in London.
