The Resilient Society. Between Powerlessness and Tyranny
Kniha se zabývá tématem společenské odolnosti, a to prostřednictvím série rozhovorů s osobnostmi současné české společnosti. Autorky spolu s respondenty a respondentkami ve 14 rozhovorech otevírají témata krize, sociální změny, systémových opor, strategií zvládání nenadálých událostí, sociálních vazeb, hodnot nebo kultury s přihlédnutím k tématu odolnosti, a to v rámci oblastí psychologie, ekonomie, práva, vzdělávání, obrany, médií, péče, ekologie, sociální práce, vztahu k menšinám, dezinformací, kultury, genderových témat či tématu nenávistných projevů, které jsou oblastmi zájmu zpovídaných osobností. Úvod knihy představuje základní kontext tématu společenské odolnosti, závěrečný text analýzu pořízených rozhovorů.
Alice Koubová je česká filozofka a matematička působící na Filosofickém ústavu Akademie věd ČR. Zabývá se tématy společenské odolnosti a etiky péče nebo performativitou.
Barbora Baronová je česká literární dokumentaristka a nezávislá nakladatelka, lektorka self-publishingu a etického vydávání knih.
Dita Pepe je česká fotografka specializující se na autoportréty a zobrazování žen v současné společnosti, také profesorka fotografie na Institutu tvůrčí fotografie.
The book explores the theme of social resilience through a set of interviews with public stakeholders within contemporary Czech society. In 14 interviews, the authors, together with their respondents, open up topics such as crises, coping strategies, transition principles, social bonds, values and culture in the fields of psychology, economics, law, education, defense, media, care, ecology, social work, misinformation, culture, gender issues, hate speech, and minority discrimination that are close to the subject of their study – resilience. The introduction presents the context for the study of social resilience. An analysis of the cross-cutting themes within the interviews is offered in the final chapter.

Alice Koubová is a Czech philosopher and mathematician, working at the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Her topics include social resilience, ethics of care, and performativity.
Barbora Baronová is a Czech literary documentarian and independent publisher, and lecturer on self- and ethical publishing.
Dita Pepe is a Czech photographer, focusing on self-portraits and picturing women within contemporary society. She is also teaching photography at the Institute of Creative Photography.
