Paulina Hidalgo Miño (Quilpué, 1992) es antropóloga social de la Universidad de Chile y escritora por oficio. Sus especialidades abarcan la escucha del lenguaje de la naturaleza, la interrelación entre ella como agente y los seres humanos, y la sabiduría tradicional de los pueblos originarios.
Paulina Hidalgo gives us a new and virtuous anthropological understanding of Wachuma or San Pedro Cactus, under the figure of a Spiral Walking being, as a plant being with its own trajectory and agency, at the same time as a cohabitant of the human being since before evil called Latin American history and its ill-gotten conquest. Being Pedro is deciphered in this book as a resonant and incident subject, at the same time subtle and cadent, in permanent swing.
Paulina Hidalgo Miño (Quilpué, 1992) is a social anthropologist from the University of Chile and a writer by trade. Her specialities include listening to the language of nature, the interrelation between her as an agent and human beings, and the traditional wisdom of Indigenous peoples.
