amaBooks is a Bulawayo-based publisher of Zimbabwean creative writing: novels, short story collections and anthologies, and poetry, with a few local history and culture titles. Since 2000, when we started, we’ve published over 40 titles. In Zimbabwe, we are best known for our short writings series, which features both short stories and poetry from new and established writers. Our books have won awards in Zimbabwe, across Africa and internationally, and rights have been sold to the United Kingdom, North America, South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria.
