Paperworth Books, an independent Nigerian publisher founded in 2002, started as a bookshop but has since evolved to amplify authentic Nigerian voices in fiction and narrative non-fiction, including biographies, memoirs, and history. We proudly launched the careers of acclaimed authors Chimeka Garricks, Paul Ugbede and Eriye Onagoruwa, and publish the latest works of Nigerian Canadian writer Michael Afenfia. Established by Ibiso Graham-Douglas, who champions the richness and universality of African stories, Paperworth Books is dedicated to innovative book development, aiming to democratize learning.
