Sefsafa Culture and Publishing was established in 2011. Since then it has published more than 250 titles in Arabic, organized many activities and proved to be one of the most active small cultural entities in Egypt. Sefsafa Publishing translated more than 100 titles (fiction & non-fiction) from 20 languages including: Spanish, Chinese, French, English and German.
In literature we have translated Patrick Modiano (Nobel 2014), Peter Handke (Nobel 2019), and Elias Canetti (Nobel 1981), Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart (Booker Prize Winner 2020), Burnt Sugar by Avani Doshi (Booker Prize Shortlist 2020), and this year we will publish more titles in Arabic and international languages.
