Dans un village en effervescence, la tension monte à l’approche d’une cérémonie d’intronisation. Pèk est résolue à dévoiler un terrible secret : la mort de son père n’était pas accidentelle, mais le fruit d’un meurtre prémédité. Tandis que les notables se préparent à investir Huin comme nouveau chef, Pèk se retrouve confrontée à un dilemme : comment prouver la vérité sans preuves tangibles ?
Né à Yaoundé, Nicolas Emmanuel Evouna Amougou, alias Iconart, dessine depuis son plus jeune âge. Il est lauréat du Prix BIFTY 2017, qui met en avant les illustrations de jeunes artistes sur le thème « Jeunesse face aux défis du développement agricole ». Il a également remporté le prestigieux concours Goethe-Découverte 2022 dans la catégorie « Bande dessinée », organisé par le Goethe-Institut Cameroun. IKARI (L’intronisation) est son deuxième album.

Pèk is determined to reveal a terrible secret: her father’s death was not an accident, but the result of a premeditated murder. While the elders prepare to install Huin as the new chief, Pèk finds herself facing a dilemma: how can she prove the truth without concrete evidence?
Born in Yaoundé, Nicolas Emmanuel Evouna Amougou, also known as Iconart, has been drawing since early childhood. He was the winner of the 2017 BIFTY Prize, which highlights illustrations by young artists on the theme “Youth and the Challenges of Agricultural Development.” He also won the prestigious 2022 Goethe-Discovery competition in the “Comic Book” category, organised by the Goethe-Institut Cameroon. IKARI (The Enthronement) is his second comic book.
