Un monde de merveilles est un livre jeunesse qui propose 25 récits d’art inspirés des pays, des époques et des thèmes issus des archives d’Europalia. Chaque histoire raconte une anecdote vraie et marquante autour d’un·e artiste ou d’une œuvre, dans une forme accessible mêlant narration, informations et pistes de réflexion. Destiné aux 9–14 ans, le livre invite à voyager dans le temps et à travers les cultures, tout en découvrant l’art comme un espace de rencontre entre générations et imaginaires. Grâce à des figures comme Fabergé, Dalí, Kahlo ou Liszt, il explore la créativité humaine et les grandes questions qu’elle soulève.

The world is a wonderland, a book targeted towards young people, offers 25 short stories inspired by countries, eras and themes from Europalia archives. Every story comes with a true and relevant anecdote about an artist or a piece of art. The format is accessible to everyone, mixing storytelling, information and thought-provoking questions. Aimed for ages 9 to 14, this book invites us to travel through time and cultures, alongside discovering art as space for exchange between generations and imaginaries. Thanks to names like Fabergé, Dalí, Kahlo or Liszt, the human creativity and the grand questions it brings up will be explored.
