Este libro busca aportar a la comprensión de las diferentes formas en que el Estado se implementa en contextos y agentes específicos mediante políticas públicas y a través de funcionarios públicos en diferentes niveles. La propuesta busca no solo abordar la llamada política indígenas, sino también las políticas que se instalan en el territorio del sur y centro de Chile.
Francisca de la Maza
Doctora en Antropología social, especialista en políticas públicas e interculturalidad. Su principal línea de trabajo es la antropología del Estado, donde ha indagado en los gobiernos locales, la interacción de funcionarios y agentes estatales, política indígena, entre otros. Se desempeña como docente e investigadora del Campus Villarrica y del Instituto de Historia de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
This book seeks to contribute to the understanding of the different ways in which the State is implemented in specific contexts and agents through public policies and through public officials at different levels. The proposal seeks not only to address the so-called indigenous policy, but also the policies that are installed in the territory of southern and central Chile.
Francisca de la Maza
PhD in Social Anthropology, specialist in public policies and interculturality. Her main line of work is the anthropology of the State, where she has investigated local governments, the interaction of state officials and agents, indigenous politics, among others. She works as a teacher and researcher at the Villarrica Campus and the Institute of History of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
