In 2026, Babelica amplifies the voice of the new generation! They live in Niger, Morocco, the Philippines, Singapore, India, Afghanistan, Palestine, Mozambique, Uruguay, Chile, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Turkey…; these young talents take centre stage at the 2026 edition of Babelica.

Programme

These young authors represent a new generation of writers on the global stage. Some have left their home countries (Afghanistan, Iran, Syria…); others live in situations of war and conflict (Ukraine, Palestine, Haiti…); for all of them, however, writing is an act of resistance and hope, a way of sharing and engaging with the world. Their stories are unique; we invite you to listen to them during this 5th edition of Babelica.
