Trinta Zero Nove
Editora Trinta Zero Nove (ETZN - named after September 30, International Translation Day) is a black woman-owned, independent micro-publisher based in Maputo, Mozambique. It is the first Mozambican publishing house dedicated to literary translation, and to publishing audiobooks. ETZN is committed to publishing in local languages, to be innovative and inclusive in its mission to, among others, reach new readers by offering books at an affordable price that are accessible to people with disabilities. In 2021 ETZN was awarded the LBF International Excellence Award for Literary Translation Initiatives, and it was the BOP Best Children’s Books Publisher of the Year in 2023.
